The Rotor Riot Hypetrain Le Drib Motor is the higher KV version of the popular Hypetrain motor. The motor features a unique design reminiscent to the Rotor Riot logo, and it is sure to stand out with the customized orange colored stator and silver windings. The Le Drib motor has an oversized 2306 sized stator at a high 2650KV for tons of power on a 5" prop with a 4s high C rated battery.
As far as performance, the Hypetrain Freestyle is built around a 2306 stator, with single strand windings that give it a KV rating of about 2650 RPM per Volt. In other words, plenty of power and decent efficiency! To ensure reliability, we opted to use high quality silicone wires for the motor leads.
The “open bottom” style base allows for considerable weight reduction and improved cooling, and the revolutionary 16x16 mm mounting screw pattern opens up new design possibilities while still maintaining backward compatibility with legacy frames. Moreover, we wanted it to have a set screw to hold the bell rather than a C-clip, to facilitate motor cleaning and maintenance!
